Joey King was born on July 30th, 1999 in the USA. She is currently 9 years old. She has been acting since the tender age of 4. Her first commercial was for Life Cereal. Since then, she has gone to work on television shows such as “CSI”, “Medium”, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”, “Entourage”, “Jericho”, and “Avenging Angel”. She was nominated for a Young Artist Awards for her role in CSI for Best Performance in a TV Series in 2009.

Joey first film was “Grace”. She has also done voice overs for movies such as “Horton Hears a Who”, where she voice a character name Katie and She was also in the lastest “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”, for which she was nominated for a YYA for her role in 2010.

In 2009 summer, Joey filmed and finished her latest movies “Ramona and Beezus“, which follows the misadventures of young grade schooler Ramona Quimby (play by Joey) from Beverly Cleary‘s popular children’s book series. The movie filmed in Vancouver, Canada for about 3 months. Joey had a blast, and according to her twitter she even got a rash while filming a car wash scene with bubbles. Joey also get to spend a lots of time with her co-star Selena Gomez.

After 3 months of hard working, Joey took a little break and spent sometime with her family and had her first dance classes but then of course, she went right back to work. Joey films her second movie in the same year, tittle “Battle: Los Angeles” which she plays Kirsten, the movie is about a Marine platoon faces off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles, the film is set to release in 2011.

Taking a little break from filming in front of thousand of cameras, Joey went back to work behind the microphone and voices her first ever episode of Family Guy, where she got to put on a British accent, Joey said it was very exciting. And after New Years, she got to film a guest spot in the hit series “Ghost Whisperer“, where she played a ghost named Cassidy.

Even though she is a bundle of talents. Joey is still a normal young girl, who is described as an enthusiastic, funny and happy girl. She loves watching UFC with her Dad, love to hangout with her sisters and like to eat Pizzas.
