Joey has joined Zach Braff’s next directorial effort Going In Style, alongside Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. A remake of the 1979 caper film starring Art Carney, Lee Strasberg, and George Burns, the film will follow a trio of elderly retirees who decide to enliven their relatively dull existence by embarking on a criminal career. King will portray Caine’s granddaughter. The role continues King’s working relationship with Braff, having previously appeared together in Braff’s Wish I Was Here.
From New Line, Going In Style is written by Ted Melfi and produced by Donald De Line. Avy Kaufman serves as casting director. King is repped by Meredith Fine of Coast-to-Coast Talent Group and Dan Spilo of Industry Entertainment.
